Abstract

The author of the paper presents somereflections about the need to promote the criticalthinking in UNAE students, so that they canperceive some micromachisms which exist in theactual society and assume a personal attitudein the face of the symbolic gender violence thathides behind them. For this, two key elementsthat guide the report are taken: the first is thehistorical origin of the custom of giving roses towomen on March 8. The second, the descriptionof an activity developed in the subject “Teachingand Learning of Social Environment II”, consistingof analyzing the lyrics of a reggaeton song andreflecting on it.
