Chair Assistantship Program at UNAE

This article presents the results of the first teaching assistantships of Universidad Nacional de Educación del Ecuador (UNAE), inaugurated in the first academic cycle of 2021. It also summarizes the experience of the students and teachers involved and the directive role of the administrators of the assistantship program. The methodological approach is qualitative and descriptive; uses the application of surveys and interviews that reflect the experiences of students and teachers, while the data resulting from the assistantship comes from those responsible for the Program: Academic Vice-Rector and Pedagogical Coordination. The students responded enthusiastically to the call for the program. The professors evaluated the assistantships as very good, while the majority of the teaching assistants stated that their experience was excellent and productive.
