Abstract

The present article is oriented in the use of the narrative for the creation and application of strategies based on personalized education to improve reading comprehension. These strategies are: stories, audiobooks and a song. After the application of instruments and the collection of information (initial and final tests) applied to the 4th graders during the pre-professional practices (hereinafter pp). The results were focused on the low level of reading comprehension, then proceeded to the search of authors and their concepts that base the investigation and the proposed proposal to improve said skill. Subsequently, the strategies were applied to the students, obtaining significant and successful results, since the level of reading comprehension was improved in the students, these results were reflected with the application of a final test.
