Educational management: challenges and challenges in the transformation of public education

This article analyzes the impact of educational leadership on the quality of education, focusing on the directors, teachers and students of the Escuela Ignacio Escandón in Cuenca, Ecuador. The study is framed within a sociocritical paradigm, with a qualitative approach and an experiential register. Surveys and interviews with nine questions to the participants were used with the aim of understanding how leadership influences educational transformation in the local context. The hypothesis posed is that educational leadership is a key factor in promoting educational quality. The results confirm this thesis according to the criteria of the participants, who emphasize the importance of collaboration, effective communication and continuous training in the process of educational improvement. However, the study concludes that there are always areas for innovation and improvement in the exercise of leadership, suggesting the need for constant adaptation.
