Abstract

The importance that has gained the creative thought and its development in the school, responds to a reality characterized by the changes that in an exceptional way have become present in it. In that sense, the approaches related to an education for creativity and creative thinking are fully relevant, highlighting the importance of the teacher in this process. This paper analyzes the leadership that corresponds to the teacher to promote the consolidation of an education aimed at developing creative thinking. A final reflection of this study is that one of the starting points to promote teacher leadership is in a formative process based on learning communities, where interactivity and cooperative work are privileged as elements of openness for new styles and teaching strategies.
