Abstract

This article intends to be a reader’s guide towards a deep reflection about the importance of elimination of gender gaps present in education dued to gender bias, explicitly in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathemathics (STEM); and how through the implementation of new learning and teaching practices it is possible to encourage girls to dabble in scientific fields, preparing them for entry to STEM careers, in purpose of them to develop in future professions; all this from the experience reached through actions ejecuted by Ministerio de Educación del Ecuador.
