Intercultural education, a reflection from the playful

Abstract

The present text is directed towards a proposal of reflection on the value of the playful for intercultural education. The theme has not been sufficiently deepened theoretically, which is why we are entering into an analysis that requires processes, greater continuity, and integrity. Neither is it a matter of sharing a text with the connotations of an indexed article, which generally require much training and previous practice in order to assimilate and understand them. The aim is to motivate the reader to engage in processes of reflection for more detailed and profound explorations of the subject, without ruling out the fact that the simplicity of a text can also lead to rich processes of reflection. Therefore, we do not start with extensive definitions or theoretical frameworks, but with brief theories, without falling into superficiality. The journal aims at a very responsible diffusion of contents and proposals, but in a different tone than what is usual in the dominant tradition of science. Therefore, no hypotheses are put forward to be tested, nor bold questions to be answered; simply reflections are shared in order to motivate transformations in the forms and contents of dominant education.
