Abstract

The effectiveness of Active Learning as a pedagogical methodology is currently more than proven, and there is evidence of its efficiency as an inclusive method. In the subject Learning and Teaching of the Natural Environment I of the fifth cycle of General Basic Education (EGB), offered by the National University of Education (UNAE), an experience was carried out based on this learning methodology to study in depth about the biodiversity and cultural diversity of Ecuador. The result was a sample of diversity in itself, where the educational experiences were the most varied and enriching, all of them accompanied by valuable information about a Megadiverse country, Ecuador.
