Abstract

Environmental pollution is a serious problem that affects the planet, putting at risk the natural balance of many ecosystems. This article describes some strategies aimed at environmental education, the objective is to educate children and young people in the care of Nature. It emphasizes the importance of knowledge in biodiversity and care of natural resources that Ecuador possesses. In addition, some practices are oriented to the use of renewable energies to achieve sustainability and a sustainable development.
