Abstract

This article presents the advances of the huerta UNAE project as a space for the generation of new learning environments, from direct contact with the land and the diversity of ecosystems. The process is focused on a holistic vision, integrating the pedagogical dimension with the management of agro-cultural systems, and intercultural dialogue. To this end, the internal reports have been revised, but also those of the allied institutions. The article shows the impact of the huerta Universitaria in the training process of more than 200 students and 10 professors from UNAE and the research carried out by three groups of students for the elaboration of their Integrative Projects of Knowledge, (PIENSA). The last part shows the didactic qualities and facilities of the Andean Chakra.
