The Learning Communities are an inclusive tool with broad academic support, which promote coexistence, tolerance and cooperation among its members. These groups take advantage of their own diversity (cultural, religious, linguistic, ethnic, gender, life forms, skill levels, etc.) to support the inclusive process, making that diversity the primary factor for educational inclusion and learning. This article shows the experience acquired in more than 3 years of coordinating the “The Piano Circle” project, a learning community that operates within the Conservatorio Superior José María Rodríguez in the city of Cuenca-Ecuador, which has managed to bring together the intellectual, social and affective dimensions of theirs participants to promote an innovative educational model that has allowed a link to the community and support for inclusion.
