Abstract

Teaching art is all an art, they would say ironically. Teaching History would depend, rather, on the vast knowledge of the subject, added to the dynamism of the teacher. Combining both seemingly distant areas results in a possibility that - given present experience - raises students’ motivation, dynamizes space and the learning process, and allows the development of superior cognitive skills and abilities such as identifying, recognizing, systematizing, creating, as well as strengthening the team work. Making use of the available elements, as if we were in the primary stages of human history (pre-history, by the way), I outlined a different aulic experience, relying on the current curriculum, but introducing basic artistic activities (painting, manufacture, modeling, complementing them with others of the teaching process of this subject: oral and written summaries and presentations.
