Abstract

In the words of the poet Rimbaud, contrary to what many may believe, poetry does not serve to embellish life. Poetry develops a special attachment to sensibility, to the capacity of observation, of admiration about what surrounds us; in the same way, poetry develops a sensitive capacity about society in general. The themes that are developed from poetry open up a wide range, although the theme of love is a reference for writers, poetry refers to the environment in general. Poetry bases its objective on the different use of the word to express something (poem); the poet faces the work of finding the precise words to send a message that must be decoded by the receiver of the poem; However, the poet does not have an ideal reader, his work is based on the creation of a message, he even works to make it hermetic, encrypted, because his desire is to build a message from his point of view, from which the receiver is empowered and deconstructs it according to the ideas of Derridá, in the text The Deconstruction of Jaques Derridá, published in the UNAM, (Krieger, 2004) until he finds several meanings; These meanings will depend largely on the reader's ability to find meaning in the message and also on the ability to understand the formal aspect of the poem.
