Abstract
Understanding that social education calls to think in educational terms the complexity of the present, and social problems, it is intended to fit different pieces of a puzzle, these lead us through a research to analyze and think about the processes of schooling of children as with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The pieces of the puzzle are: Modernity, Disability, Schooling, School institution, Peer group, Family, Interdisciplinary approach and in conclusion the view from Social Education. This text allows us to review and reconsider the social educational practice in terms of questions, which enable specific searches with a focus on inclusion, from a critical pedagogy
